Career Fair October 7 & 8th

UK Alumni are invited to attend this week's campus Career Fair. For more information, go to www.uky.edu/CareerCenter. How can you make the most of a Career Fair??? First, research employers that will be attending and the positions for which they are recruiting. Select a few companies that may be a good match with your educational background, career goals, experience or values. Prepare a tailored resume for those targeted employers. Practice your 15 second commercial. Dress professionally and put on a big confident smile. One can never expect to leave a Career Fair with a job offer. However, if a Career Fair can help alumni learn more about a company or obtain an inside contact, you have been successful. Hope to see you there.
